Friday, February 19, 2010 - What Is Open Source / Installfest

2:00 PM at Te Amo Lucy's Restaurant, Constitucion #622

The February meeting of the Mazatlan Linux Users Group will be this Friday, February 19. We will be finishing our discussion of "What is Open Source, Really?" and holding our second installfest. Bring your laptop or desktop and have Ubuntu Linux installed for free. If you bring a desktop computer, please also bring your keyboard and monitor.

Anyone is welcome to join us, regardless of your computer experience. We will be answering questions during and after the discussion. There will also be some laptops with Linux available for you to try out.

The meeting will be this Friday, February 19 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. We meet at Te Amo Lucy's restaurant near the Plaza Machado. The weather has been so nice, we have been meeting by the pool. Although the restaurant is closed during the meeting, Tony makes drinks available for us. Or come early and have a fabulous lunch before the meeting.

Te Amo Lucy's is located at Constitucion 622 between Plaza Machado and Benito Juarez. It's a pink building on the south side of the street.

Hope to see you there!
